AngloGold reports better numbers. Datatec is a mixed bag in tricky conditions. Gold Fields is struggling with chinchillas (for reals). Murray & Roberts is taking pain. Sibanye gets punished by the market. Truworths grew strongly.

The market approved of AB InBev's earnings. Afrimat does its best under the circumstances. Anglo group companies release quarterly reports. Astral Foods gives a depressing outlook. Tongaat Hulett enters business rescue.

Prosus is still buying assets like it's a bull market. Standard Bank released a great set of results, with updates also in from Aveng and Spur. The TRP is being kept busy.

Fortress has confirmed that it is engaging with the JSE about the pending loss of REIT status. Financial updates came in from Adcock Ingram, Exxaro, Curro, Grindrod, Grindrod Shipping, Caxton, Blue Label and more.

Massmart and Telkom released results that hurt investors. Royal Bafokeng Platinum had disappointing production numbers. Thankfully MTN Ghana, Sabvest Capital, JSE Limited, Textainer and a couple of others brought some cheer.
